Soviet-Afghan War (1979-1989)

The Soviet War in Afghanistan is known as Soviet War in Afghanistan or Soviet-Afghan War or  Soviet Invasion of Afghanistan, which lasted from December 24, 1979, when the then USSR Army deployed her 40th Army to Afghanistan till the comeplete withdrawl of USSR forces from Afghanistan began from May 15, 1988, and ended on February 15, 1989.

Th Russian forces wanted to set up a social way of political establishment where everyone is equal. Whereas the people living on the remote village regions, most of them being strictly religious, CIA, other neighbouring Islamic nations were on the opposition of the idea of equality and socialism. They considered it to be the idea leading against Islam and Allah. So, they began war against USSR and USSR supported Afghan government of Marxist Peoples Demcoratic Party of Afghanistan (PDPA).

I found a series of videos on its complete story. If you like them, give your eyes.
